CCI LIVE: Building Skills & Sustaining Connections
A Virtual Conference for CCI Alumni
August 28, 2013
The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) are pleased to present a virtual conference for alumni of the Community College Initiative (CCI) Program. We are excited to invite close to 2,000 alumni of the program to join us for this unique event called CCI LIVE: Building Skills & Sustaining Connections. This event will take place 100% online, and will occur live, so all registered participants can listen to live presentations and can interact with each other and with the guest presenters via moderated forums and discussion boards. If you cannot make it to the event live as it happens, all the sessions will be recorded so you will still be able to take advantage of the great information that is going to be shared among the CCI community.
The virtual conference will provide alumni with opportunities to reconnect with or meet new alumni of the program, focus on professional development skills, and learn about online resources to continue your educational and professional training.
Event Start Time: 9:00am Eastern Daylight Time (13:00 GMT)
Duration: Approximately 4 hours comprised of multiple 1 hour sessions. Use the Schedule link above to view the draft event schedule.
How do I register? Go the registration page on this website to sign up! We are looking forward to gathering this amazing community of young people together, rekindling the CCI program spirit, and learning from esteemed speakers about topics related to continuing your progress in your careers and your lives as engaged citizens of your communities and the world.
